Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OIKONOMOS personal-finance application at oikonomos.cc (the “Service”), operated by OIKONOMOS (“we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
OIKONOMOS is a personal-finance tool that lets you manually record and organize your income, expenses, accounts, cards and budgets. The Service is provided for personal, informational and organizational purposes only.
2. Not financial advice
OIKONOMOS is a tracking and organization tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making important financial decisions.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for:
- providing accurate information when you register;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the financial information and content you enter (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Data solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, and we recommend keeping your own backups of important information.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ data, or our systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- reverse-engineer, copy or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
- upload malicious code or attempt to circumvent security or usage limits.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, Vercel and Google) to function. Your use of features provided through them — such as Google Sign-In — may also be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Availability and changes
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may add, change or remove features over time.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OIKONOMOS and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
